One of my favorite memories growing up was digging out my mother's stack of old photo albums. We would sit there for hours while she would recount all the stories behind each image. Stories of adventure, love, heartache, loss. Through these images I got a look into the lives of family members I never even got to meet. Photos are so powerful.
